A great group mastermind for anyone thinking of starting a business online is the thirty day challenge. This is held every year by and Australian guy by the name of Ed Dale, and the best part of all it is completely free.

We decided to do the thirty day challenge this year and will be posting the actions we take as an accountability thing.  Sign up at challenge.co to get started if your interested.

It’s still in pre-season. This training is free and designed for people with zero time as each lesson is designed to take less than 30minutes of your time.

Extra Tips

Create a  hootsuite account to link your twitter account to your blog account so that whenever you post a blog comment it is also posted to twitter.  All you need to do is

Settings->Add Social Network –> Twitter and add your twitter account

Settings –> RSS Atom –> Add New Feed to link your Twitter account to your blog’s RSS feed

You can also do this with friendfeed.  But it friend feed only allows one twitter account. We like Hootsuite because you can keep multiple twitter accounts in the one place.

The 3 Pillars of Designing Your Ideal Internet Lifestyle

Over at the Internet Business Mastery blog they posted some great tips on how to start an Internet Business Mastery Mastermind. It’s based on an interview they did with a very successful mastermind group in Chicago.

Here are a few of the tips they gave on how to run an Internet Business Mastermind:

  • If you miss 4 meetings your removed from the group (they only want serious people)
  • Use Google Groups to stay in touch and for support  (use technology for support)
  • Have a monthly worksheet that is completed before each meeting (make people accountable)
  • Keep meetings down to 2 hours in length. In first hour critique one or two members website. In the last hour go over worksheet (have a plan for each meeting)

Head over to Internet Business Mastery and check it out. There is also a podcast of the interview with this Chicago mastermind.

If you are trying to master a certain area  e.g. web design or an associated product, say Dreamweaver, why not blog about it as you learn. If you are learning from a training CD you can reference the Affiliate link to the training course on each blog post. This way you can learn and make money while you are learning.

Of course you can’t copy word for word from the training course. But as you apply the training course and use the product you can blog about the your progress and document the results you achieve, along with some short notes. It will make your blog appear real and authentic not like the thousands of “me too” review sites that provide little or no value. It also proves that you have purchased and use the product, thereby building trust with your reader.

I woke up this morning mindful of my dreams. It was the usual dream where I had so many things to get done and so little time to do it. It would be great if there were a course, meditation tape or ebook that helps people have happy dreams when they go to sleep at night.

A good business model is to fill a want or a need, so I think a book/CD on how to make your dreams happy every night would be a seller.

Do a google search for research. Maybe contact a few experts on the subject and write an ebook or develop a CD. I’ll buy it!!

I noticed a few people doing this.  People often search for TV episodes they have missed on on google e.g. “dexter season 4 eipisode 7” in the hope of finding the episode online.

What you could do is setup a website with a Cost Per Action (CPA) offer  as the requirement for get access to information on where to find the particular TV episode.  For example you could direct them to a legitimate site such as Hulu to find the video.

CPA offers typically pay $1 per person signing up. So if you drive enough traffic using google adwords you could make a nice profit. The great thing about this idea is that there is a new episode of regular programs every day to drive traffic to. There are few competing websites as well to contend with also for search optimization.

Here is an entrepreneur idea for people who live in countries where English is not the main language and where people want to learn/practice English.

Offer a service where you spend an hour of your time to “hang out” with people wanting to practice English. It could be going to lunch, visiting a park or going window shopping for example. If you make it a small group outing you can charge slightly less and make it a sociably enjoyable activity as well.

Parents in Asian countries will pay big money for a westerner to hang out with their children to learn English. Why not turn it into a business.

Keeping up with the trends on google can give you some good business ideas. For example people love reading about celebrities. They often search for items that the celebrities are wearing.

Why not start a blog that advertises the handbags, shoes and clothes that celebrities wear with affiliate links promoting these products.

Keep watching google trends to find which celebrity is hot each day and then search to see what they are wearing and then just blog about it.

I just thought of this idea like 10 minutes ago. I am sure it has probably been thought of but here goes..

The ideas is to start a Web 2.0 top tips site where people start threads of top tips on everything and anything. Other people then add than their own tips to the end of the existing tips.

So I might start off a thread like

Top Internet Business Tips

1. Check out mastermindgroups.org for ideas

2. Create a business plan

Then someone else can add to the list

3. Check out topinterenetbusinessideas.org for ideas

..

You get the idea.
